Requirements & Terms

As mentioned in our home page WorldBE is designed for medium to high traffic websites. Our intention is not to harass or discriminate against smaller websites in any way. Instead we realize the fact that smaller sites cannot benefit from our services, and we cannot benefit from the association.

Because of this we only accept websites that:

• Own their own domain
• Have at least 200 hits/day
• Meets the "quality control" of the WorldBE crew

Furthermore any of the following material and subject matter is not permitted and will result in your account being deleted without notice:

• Adult content
• Rasicm/hate content
• Any content or information related to illegal activities

WorldBE terms of service.

The following are the terms and conditions of service for the WorldBE banner exchange. By placing WorldBE code on your website(s) or by uploading banner adverts (banners) to our service you signify your acceptance of these terms.

Banner placement

You may only place the WorldBE banner code on websites that have been approved in advance by WorldBE. You must not place the code on any site that contains illegal, offensive or inappropriate content including but not limited to: pornography, warez, bikini sites, sites that encourage, condone or otherwise aid illegal activity. The WorldBE code must also not be placed on any sites which link to sites containing such content. Code may only be placed on sites where the majority of content is PG-13 suitable or lower. Any adult content MUST be clearly marked and should not be visible on the home page. All sites must be complete and working. The code may not be placed on sites containing no original content or sites that infringe on other's intellectual property rights.

The WorldBE code must be placed in a prominent position on the site. While it does not need to be above the fold, the banner must be clearly visible in a content area of the site, i.e. not below the copyright notice at the bottom.

The code must not be placed in a banner stack, i.e. it must not be placed in such a way that there are two or more advertisements from any network directly beside or in very close proximity to each other. In all cases WorldBE's judgment as to what constitutes a banner stack will be final and binding.

There may only be one instance of the WorldBE code per page. If a site uses ad rotation software to rotate ads between various areas of the site technical measures must be implemented to ensure that the WolrdBE code is not visible twice in a single page view.

The banner code must not be placed on any page which auto refreshes, i.e. reloads the page without user interaction, be it by server push or client pull.

Banner Advert Content

All banners uploaded may not contain any illegal, offensive or inappropriate content, nor may the site they link to. Rich media banners may not make sounds, spawn popups or launch any sort of dialer, ActiveX control or attempt to download any file other than needed for the advertisement onto a users’ computer. Abuse of this is taken very seriously and anyone caught breaking these rules will be liable for a cleanup fee of not less than $1500.00 USD. Banner adverts may not be misleading, i.e. they must not appear to be any sort of dialog box, system message or navigation of the site hosting the ad. This includes banners saying you have won a prize, you are visitor number something or other or appearing to be a regular hyperlink or group of hyperlinks. Banners with excessive blinking or animation will also be declined along with any banner that includes Windows elements such as scrollbars.

Compensation

You agree that you will receive no payment for hosting WorldBE ads on your site. For every banner ad you display WorldBE will award you "credits" to display your own banners on the WorldBE network. The number of credits you will be awarded will vary according to a number of factors, however it will be no less than one credit for every two banner displays. WorldBE may change the credits awarded per display at any time at their sole discretion. Credits may currently be traded with other members for cash or services. WorldBE reserves the right to levy a charge on this service in the future or to withdraw it all together.

User conduct

Members may not repeatedly reload or click on their own banners. Any one caught doing this will be immediately banned and may be invoiced for any dishonestly earned impressions at 10 times the current market value. Members agree that they will not disparage, insult or do anything that could damage the reputation of WorldBE, be it online or otherwise. This condition survives the termination of any agreement.

Down time

Members agree that WorldBE is not responsible for any loss of service or downtime.

Termination

WorldBE may terminate this agreement at any time without prior notice. Except in cases where an account is being closed for breach of these terms or other forms of misconduct WorldBE will endeavor to give prior notice. In the case of termination all credits in a user's account will be forfeit. If a user does not agree to these terms their only recourse shall be to remove all WorldBE code and cease use of the WorldBE services and site.

WORLDBE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ALTER THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME AND WITHOUT NOTICE. BY CONTINUING TO USE THE SERVICE YOU ARE AGREEING TO ANY NEW TERMS.

ANY BREACH OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAY RESULT IN THE TERMINATION OF A MEMBER'S ACCOUNT. IF AN ACCOUNT IS TERMINATED ALL CREDITS OUTSTANDING WILL BE FORFEIT.
